Most of the former refugees have now gone on to greener pastures, and there are few memoirs of them left. If there’s one thing they left behind as legacy, it’s their food.

So we decided to eat something different instead of eating rice with some viand. My mom made Wakame (seaweed) and Cucumber salad, Salmon Sashimi, Crispy Squid Rings, and  Tofu with Soumen sauce.
